Our Story

IDPN was created to provide urgently needed support to state advocacy groups who are now on the front lines of one of the most important healthcare battles in our country. IDPN seeks to nurture and empower state organizations, to help to coordinate the growing movement of pro-vaccine state-based efforts by providing technical capacity, training, and advocacy expertise. We aim to drive positive impressions about vaccinations by building out grassroots so individuals, organizations, and partners can coordinate, catalyze, and amplify efforts in a given state. With training and support, local partnerships can be leveraged to have tremendous impact at the state level linking education and advocacy to enable legislators and public officials to make evidence-based choices about vaccines.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We must grow the pro-vaccine advocacy movement.\u00a0 We are looking down the barrel of a catastrophic public health crisis – one in which vaccine-preventable diseases make a resurgence. Advocacy efforts are needed to provide accurate, evidence-based information to push back against the onslaught of disinformation and anti-vaccine policies.<\/b><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Armed with a small group of passionate advocates and a few local community partners, we set out to promote accurate information about immunizations. We are grateful for the resources, strategic plans, and expertise that IDPN brings to our grassroots efforts.
